Cool patterns to draw for beginners
Every artist should learn to draw basic models and textures. Although everyone likes to concentrate on the line, it is a good model or texture that can bring your drawing to life. Some cool drawings like a mandala are only repeated models. In this post, you will find different types of patterns to draw. These patterns include points, circles, lines, squares/rectangles, and leaves/flowers. In the end, you will also find some instructions to help you offer your models.
How to draw patterns with dots
The points are great. They are so great that they inspired their art style called Pointillism. The points are not only very easy to draw, but you can also see them in many different models. Here are some models that I offered in Prodding.
To create interesting patterns with points themselves, you want to try one or more of the following points:
- Change the size of the wholesale points on small
- Draw the points in a clear or random order
- Use small points to draw a larger circle or other objects
- Combine points with lines
- Use the white room well
How do you draw circle patterns?
The points and circles are quite similar. You can see a similarity between patterns with points and patterns with circles. However, the empty interior of the circles opens up new possibilities and a more complex design. You can dye inside or outside the circles, or you can give the circles the decorations more interesting. Here are some simple models with circles that I proposed.
If you offer ideas to draw your circular models, try one or more of the following options:
- Play with the location of the circles
- Use the two small circles
- Draw small circles in large circles
- Use overlapping circles.
- Decorate the circles
- Insert circles that leave other empty circles
How do you draw line templates?
Let’s look at geometric patterns with lines. Of course, before you can do these habits, you must learn to draw straight lines consistently. Like all previous models that we have investigated so far, you want to play with the positioning of the lines. Especially with the angle at which the lines cut. Here are some line models that I moved for the practice.
If you want to create your interesting models with lines, you may want to try one or more of the following options:
- Use long and short lines
- Pull lines at different angles while crossing
- Alternatively horizontal and vertical lines
- Drawing lines of zigzag
- Fill in the area between specific lines
- Integrate other elements such as points or circles
How to draw geometric patterns with rectangles and squares
However, let’s look at this time some geometric patterns, but with squares and rectangles. Of course, you can pull squares and rectangles with lines, but I felt as if you had earned your section. Although they are surprisingly easy, I’m super happy with the way the square patterns have proven in the square. If you want, you can also make similar systems with triangles.
Here are some patterns with squares and rectangles that I proposed:
You may think that there is only a limited amount of patterns that you can do. But as soon as I started, I noticed that you just can draw incredible patterns:
- Use of squares and rectangles of all shapes and sizes
- In the rotation in different angles
- Draw smaller objects in the largest
- Let different squares and rectangles overlap each other
- Dye that some of them remain empty
How do you draw flowers and leaves?
Nature is always an excellent source of inspiration, so I tried to find patterns that use leaves and/or flowers. The variety of these models comes mainly from different types of leaves and flowers. There are so many possibilities: The pride on Canadian maple leaves, the elegant reading, or the romantic rose. You can also place it randomly or in a repeating pattern. Here are some patterns with leaves and flowers I draw.
If you want to make your model with leaves or flowers, you can keep things interesting:
Draw different types of flowers and leaves
Draw them among random angles
Including more than one flower style or leaf
Come with a complex design that includes both
Add bright colors for your motifs
Draw flowers and leaves you came with yourself
How do you make beautiful models?
I hope all these examples for different models were helpful. Maybe you can use some of them in their drawing, or maybe they have given them the inspiration for a model or even better texture. For all models, there are some similarities. So I tried to offer some thumb rules that you can relate to drawing models.
Use small and large objects
- Try many things
- Add color, a pattern can change absolutely
- The white room can also be part of the pattern
- Repeated and random models can work
- Integrate different elements into a single pattern that works well
